I'M NOT A BUDDHIST… OR AM I?
Hi. Welcome to my blog, and thank you for being here. I hope that there is enough that interests or inspires you to stop by again.
I am originally a Maine gurl who has gotten around a bit. I lived and got my education just outside of Chicago. I've resided in Massachusetts, in Pennsylvania, and I did ten years in Cali, just outside of Los Angeles, where I occupied the unlikely role of Stage Mother to my favorite actor, Noah Gray-Cabey (ABC My Wife & Kids, NBC Heroes). I have four children in all. Equally proud of all. And now that they are solidly in adulthood, this winding path that I call my own finds me sequestered in the woods of Maine, off-grid, as a part-owner in a recreation business, Seboomook Wilderness Campground, along the shores of Maine's largest lake – Moosehead Lake.
It is here, in the relative quiet and in the role of serving those who seek respite in the woods, that I am allowed the opportunity to look deeply, to think my thoughts, and to learn the lessons that are uniquely mine. It is this path that I share with you in hopes that there is something in my journey that can offer support and understanding, and love to yours. As Ram Dass says, "At the end of the day, we are just walking each other home." May the steps we take together to be an encouragement for each other and others.
